And No Birds Sang

You all are familiar with Farley Mowat’s books like Lost in the Barrens and Never Cry Wolf but have you read And No Birds Sang? Very powerful autobio of his WWII experiences. The fact that he didn’t write it until 32 years after the war is probably indicative of latent PTSD. It’s right up there with All Quiet on the Western Front and With the Old Breed: At Pelelieu and Okinawa. Four stars for all 3 books especially if you like reading the Real Deals. Brian
